Nextdore has been a Canterbury icon since 1960, when Theo Dore - grandfather of current Director, Nick - opened Dore’s for Floors at 43 Lichfield Street. Nextdore came to us with a strong brand, an impressive legacy, and an appetite for growth. Learn how we helped them to pivot from a transactional business to an engaging, experiential brand.

Nextdore were well-known for having the best selection of interior products in Canterbury, but their interior design services were falling under the radar. We created new positioning - “Spaces Inspired By Your Story” - and an omnichannel brand campaign that promotes and highlights their design expertise. The new positioning was cemented with a fresh website, designed to highlight the stunning visual side of Nextdore’s work.

Once the word was out, clients didn’t hesitate. Nextdore saw a 140% increase in campaign engagement and a 69% increase in qualified website enquiries.

Nextdore had a strong social media following and plenty of stories to tell, but under-maintained social media pages meant potential advocates weren’t hearing enough from their brand. We created and implemented a social media content strategy showcasing their team, suppliers, interior design work, and community support.

This rich content built engagement and excitement around the brand, leading to a 291% audience increase on Facebook and a 606% increase in Instagram-driven website traffic.

Nextdore’s designers are constantly working on beautiful interiors throughout the South Island, but the Projects section of their website was unmaintained, and they had no way to communicate with their previous clients. We set up a regular content schedule, including blogs and email newsletters, to make sure their work receives the attention it deserves. We also showcased Nextdore’s stunning work with in-house photography from our multitalented graphic designer, Rachael.

Nextdore’s clients love viewing new projects and product showcases; we saw a 35% increase in engaged time onsite, alongside a 55% email open rate and an increase in their organic rankings for interior design services.
